Default advice needed - insulation on pipes connecting AC units

    Hey guys,
I need an advice from someone knowledgeable in AC systems:

-I got a new AC installed a few days ago, and one part of pipes connecting inside and outside units (something like 10 cm/4 inches)is not insulated like the rest.advice needed - insulation on pipes connecting AC units-imag0806-jpgadvice needed - insulation on pipes connecting AC units-imag0808-jpg
Is this normal, or should i be worried?

    Thanks in advance!

Typical. Usually, the reason for insulating is to prevent condensation from dripping all over and to make the cold line a bit more efficient. The warm line probably doesn't need to be insulated at all.

If one of those two pipes sweats and drips, you can add some insulation to it.
