    Default old pump house

I received this email and replied with the link to this post...

I have a circuit in an old pump house that I am replacing the wiring with GFCI, etc. The problem I am having is correcting the previous wiring. There is one incoming source, goes to a two-pole light switch ( which controls the ceiling light ) and a GFC outlet next to it.

All IIneed to know is which color wire goes to with terminal screw ?

Assuming you have a standard black, white ground cable, the black wire always get switched.
