    Default Start programs maximized

I have an email program(Eudora) in start menu to start as soon as windows7 starts. Sometimes it does not start maximized. It starts normal, even though I never run it other than maximized.
I have already done the properties thing and changed the property to "start maximized".

Did not know that Eudora still existed.. Just looked, it's now basically a tweaked up Thunderbird (Mozilla).

Eudora has always been the oddball out there. I used it many many years ago and recalled that it kinda did whatever it wanted.
If you are using the OSE (open source) edition then you may want to look at Thunderbird. It has the same back end but from what I read "modern" Eudora is Thunderbird + a plugin to make it function differently.

You should have no problem importing your inbox over to Thunderbird (backup first as always). It is activly developed and there are plugins to make it do about anything.

There are utilities out there that run in your system tray (by your clock). They can do stuff like detect if a specific window is on your desktop (such as Eudora) and then perform specific tasks (like maximize window). It's kinda the duct tape method, but it works. I've used them back (before I even used Eudora) to automatically close a certain popup window that opened along with a program.

I am running the last actual version of Eudora. I started with it. It does what I need. And I like it. I am hesitant to change but my give it a shot sometime in the future.

I don't think it is a Eudora issue.
