    it would make total sense that this is the issue.... if you open the door quickly during the cancel/drain cycle, all the water is out and then I watch a bit flow back in. This one of the first things I looked for but I could find anything online about it having a check valve so I came to the conclusion that wasn't one. I guess I'll be looking around this morning to see if I can find one!

    it makes total sense that this is the issue....at the very start I looked and looked but couldnt find anything that said it should have one. Can you give me the link to the repair clinic part? I haven't been able to find the piece anywhere.

    Thanks very much for the help. Hopefully this forum helps someone else. If you can see the water being pushed and watch it fill back up again, there is a good chance this is your issue.

    Most don't have it built into a hose...this is something new(er) we are starting to see.

    Would modifying the house that doesn't have it be too expensive, Jeff?
