Default GE Oven F2 error - can I disconnect the panel to oven

I have a J MP31WOA1WW GE Profile stove that is 27" drop in unit. The oven is a POS, but I cannot replace it until I move a few cabinets. We have not used the oven in years, but it randomly goes off as an F2 error when no one is using the stove/oven and sometimes in the middle of the night. Is there a way to disconnect the digital panel to the oven so this thing will stop being so annoying???

    Hi,

Since you no longer use the oven I'd remove the power. Disconnect all the wires from the back of the clock/control and tape them up with black electrical tape. Reinstall power and use the cook top until you are ready for the new range.

#16 in the picture here is the clock/control.
