    Default Made in Mexico

When appliance is stamped 'Made in Mexico', can you rely on the model and or serial number for the mfg date?
On one site you only have 2 choices, Canada and USA for country of origin.

    So far we can yes.

True, but an appliance can be made in Mexico for the USA only....or Canada only....usually where it is sold from I would choose that country.
EG: An refrigerator Made in Mexico in British Columbia I would consider Canada.
EG: An refrigerator Made in Mexico in Greensboro North Carolina I would consider USA.

Years ago when I first started, Made in Mexico was not a good sign....but now-a-days I would take something made in Mexico over something Made in China....JMO!
