    Default dryer belt

    kenmore model 1108860293

Friend called that her dryer belt needs to be changed. I haven't seen the machine yet. Can I get some basic direction on how to get to it. Do you access from the back or does the top lift somehow? I'm sure once I see the machine I can figure it out but a starting point would help.
    thanks

    Hi Chris,

Many/most Canadian models are not online. Esp dept store models.

8 digit ones after the prefix and it was shared USA and Canadian markets and are probably online......7 digits after the prefix and this was for Canadian markets only and not likely online.

Can't tell you what this one looks like.

    Some common ones:

Thanks. That will help a lot. I probably would have gone for the back first although I was pretty sure that wouldn't work.

Turns out she decided to buy a new set since the washer was acting up also. So I never did take it apart.

Crap!! Dryer could have been saved and donated to a charity or such.

Rona will be taking the old ones away. I don't know what they do with them.

Rona use to be Canadian, now it is owned by Lowes.
    They will likely be scraped.
    Thankx for the update Chris!
    Happy New Years.
