    Have you tried plugging the motor plug from the dryer into the new motor and seeing what happens....just lay the motor on the base.

    but still does not tell me what exactly to do
    Did you determine...

    Determine which type Broken Belt Switch connector the dryer
    has. See Figure 1A and Figure 1B.

    I just saw this response Jeff, had no idea you had commented back. Is there a way to try the motor without putting everything back together?

    Sure, just set the motor on the base beside the old motor area and plug the wire harness onto the new motor. If the wires are off of the front panal and door switch, just isolate them and tape them together to act like the dryer door is closed...I find it easier to leave the wires on the door switch and just lay the front panal beside the dryer. Prop the idler pulley up to trip the belt broken switch, plug the dryer in and turn the dryer on to see what happens.
