Default Frigidaire Gas Stove Model FFGF3053LSH - SIngle Burner Won't Spark or Click

I own a Frigidaire Gas Stove Model FFGF3053LSH. Three of the burners work perfectly (knock on wood). One of them, however, does not spark or even click when I turn the knob.

The gas is working fine (i.e. if I turn the knob and light a match, the burner will light and stay lit). I have tried cleaning the spark electrode to no avail. I have also cleaned the little hole that the spark travels through to reach the burner.

Based on preliminary research, I believe the problem may be the spark wire, though I would like a more educated opinion.

I found posts elsewhere suggesting that the issue could be the spark ignition switch. However, the switches for this stove come in a harness. So I would think if one switch is bad, it will prevent electrical current for ALL switches.

Another suggestion is the spark module. However, again, it seems that if the spark module were bad, it would impact ALL burners.

    Any input would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    Yes.

Nope, one can fail while others still work.

I believe the problem may be the spark wire
Not overly common, but possible....esp possible in areas where mice might chew on the wire.

Another suggestion is the spark module
    Yes.

it seems that if the spark module were bad, it would impact ALL burners
Nope, one part can fail while others still work.

I would check the switch, spark module, wire and electrode in that order.

Switch can be ohmed for continuity, should be visually checked for any cracks.
Spark module output wires could be temperarily switched to see if the problem follows or stays in the same place.
