    Default Ge gas range.

I can use the rear burners on stove top without house filling with gas but I try to use the front one and we have to air the house out. Does anyone have any ideas?
Get model jgbs09peh3ww. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

I can use the rear burners on stove top without house filling with gas but I try to use the front one and we have to air the house out.
    Are they not lighting?
Is the flame not going all the way around the burner head?
Do you mean you smell gas when only using the front two burners?

Yes, only when using. The flame goes all the way around.

    The gas enters on #14.
Gas stops at the valves #15.
The gas will only go past to the burners when the valve stem and knob have been turned.
The gas will go through the lines ( #22 and #23 ) to the burners.
The gas then enters the burners where it is burnt/lite.

Possible for the valves ( #15 ) to leak when you turn them on, more possible the lines ( #22 and #23 ) could be loose, cracked, corroded.
To lift the top panel you will have to remove the grates, remove the burners, remove any screws from under the burners and press in on the clips ( #146 ) on each side to release the front of the cook top panel to inspect these things.
