    Default Microwave door switch

My Thermadore MBBS/01 door switch keeps burning out. What would cause this.

    Hi,

Wrong switch being installed, loose wire connector, bad contact inside the switch, something drawing too much power are common trouble makers...

Thank you for this information but, I already know the switch is bad. I have changed it several times over the past few months and after each change it blows sooner. The last switch only lasted a few days. Where should I go from here? What can be the possible causes for it burning out?

    Wrong switch being installed
I noticed the unit uses 3 different switches....correct replacement being used?

The last switch only lasted a few days
    How did it fail?
Have any pictures of the damaged part?

These are from most to least common. If the same switch is being installed, first thing I would do is replace the wire terminals then.

What can be the possible causes for it burning out?

The original was obviously burn leaving visual char marks (over voltage). The others left no visible signs but ended up bad (meter tested)

The other 2 switches appear and test good.

Since there is no power to the unit when I open the cover and I have no tech data, I'm not quite sure where to test from here to find the cause

    Just open continuity?

Which one is going bad, top or bottom?

Post some pics of the bad switch(s).
