    Hi,

    RF263BEAESR
the fridge is ok but freezer is not cooling
This unit has two evaporators, one for the fresh food section and a second one for the freezer section.

But the fan inside freezer is working well
Expose the evaporator/cooling coils in the freezer and snap a picture of them....we want to see the frost pattern. Post the picture here.

    thanks for reply
there is NO ice or frost whatever. the evaporator is just a little be cold where the copper pipe combines with aluminum. the evaporator is temperature room. Sensor tempertature is ok (i switched the refrigerator sensor with the freezer sensor)
The defrost pipe is temperatures room also

    Crap!
That indicates a major refrigeration system issue....could be a leaker, restriction, inefficient compressor or any combination of these = BIG$ repair. An appliance tech would have to come in and access the refrigeration system to find out which one of these is happening.

    Correct.

    Correct.

Refrigerant gas, Freon hasn't been used since the mid 90's.

Refrigerant gas flow goes to the FF section first, from there to the FZ.
Inefficient compressor is one not pumping 100% any more....we could still have enough to make the beginning cold but not enough to make the end of the refrigeration system cold = the FF can still work and we loose the FZ.
Leaker, lost some of the refrigerant gas = the FF can still work and we loose the FZ.
Restriction blocks the flow of refrigerant gas = the FF can still work and we loose the FZ.
