    Default pedestals

Since my dryer with the pedestal is not feasible to repair, need to know something. Can I mount a non pdestal dryer the pedestal if the footprints are close?

Have a drill, have screws, have nuts and bolts....for sure you can!

I think I will take a shot at it. No spacers needed?

Got screws. Wife tells me all the time I have few loose screws. Beginning to believe her.

Might as well have some of those handy as well.

If you get a chance, take some before and after pics.

Decided not to do that. Might be interesting though. How important is it to have some sort of pad between the washers and dryers with pedestals? The matching washer to this dryer has a slight vibration in the spin cycle. This is a very heavy washer by the way. I think the legs were bent by it being tilted at some point. Might swap the legs out. Might even take it off the pedestal.

I mean between the pedestal and the machine (isolation pads)?

    Most have nothing.
I tend to agree a pad or buffer is likely a good idea, but most that I see have nothing.
