Unhappy Level sensing on kenmore washer 110-92582100

Washer overflows onto floor. Spun water out and took control panel loose and checked level sensing system.
I tested the plastic tube going down to the bottom of the drum by blowing. It is like it is plugged up inside.
Air goes through the tubing when disconnected. When I suck I hear a small sound and very little air comes
into my mouth with the tube in place.
Should I be able to blow and suck freely? It is like a one way valve with very little flow in the suck direction and do
not seem to be any flow in the blow direction. I am thinking there is a clog down there. Is there a bladder like in a pressure well system? A diagram shows just the drum and the small can shape and no valve or bladder.
There is a lot of gunk stuck to the drum now. I am thinking it got loosened up when the level went way up and
sloshed it around. How would I clean the area between the drum and case without taking the agitator off?

Evidently there was a clog in the level can that is at the bottom of the drum. I put 25 PSI through the tube and then was able to blow through. Put everything back together and it works fine now. I like to try to fix things without throwing money at it. Like I so many times others do and they still have the same problem.

    Hi,

Is there a bladder like in a pressure well system?
    Nope.

I am thinking there is a clog down there
    Yup.

A diagram shows just the drum and the small can shape and no valve or bladder.
    Correct.

How would I clean the area between the drum and case without taking the agitator off?
Removing the cabinet, removing the tub cover and using a brush between the baskets like below has worked well for us.

I put 25 PSI through the tube and then was able to blow through. Put everything back together and it works fine now
    Good job.
