Default amana front load washer #nfw7200tw only complets spin cycle on delicate

hi jeff. customer complaint was clothes still wet at end of cycle. I checked the pump it ran fine , clothed not dry enough but no water left in tub. the machine was on very unlevel floor. my thought is that it runs fine on delicate because the rpm's aren't as high ,so that the unit doesn't shake as much,as it would on a normal. at one point I got it pretty solid and pressed spin only and it went into full high speed spin.do you think that it being so unlevel that it senses unbalance and won't go into high spin? there are no error codes. also what is the mems sensor for in this unit?

    Hi,

    A copy:

    Will Not Spin
    • Check to make sure the door is fully closed.
    • Check for water left inside the washer. If present, see Will Not Drain.
    • Perform Board Output Test or Quick Spin Test.
(Before test, make sure that the tumbler is empty.) If it doesn’t tumble after the test above, check unbalanced
load scenario, Main Control Board, and motor.
    • Check for loose connections at Machine Control Board, Pressure Switch, Motor, Tach Harness and Motor Control.
    • Check belt.

    Wet Clothes
    • Very small clothes loads can cause unbalanced loads.
    Add additional towels.
    • Excessive suds may have been present, due to not using High-efficiency detergent. Reduce amount of detergent usage.
    • See Will Not Spin.
    • Low Spin Speed or Drain Only was selected.

    MEMS Sensor Check
Check voltage at PIN #1 and #5 of CN1
    Tester Check = DC5V
Check voltage at PIN #1 and #4 of CN1
    Tester Check = Approximately 2.5V (2.2V~2.8V)

MEMSIC’s Out-Of-Balance Module solves the problem of being able to detect low and high RPM out-of-balance conditions. It is a complete assembly that can be mounted directly to the tub of the washing machine. It consists of an accelerometer mounted on a small PCB and installed in a water tight plastic housing.

Your welcome. Certainly sounds like you are on the right track with the movement issues.
