Default Help - Thermador double oven glass touch pad replacement

Hi, I have a Thermador white double oven model # SC302T with convection oven on top and a non-convection below. I am getting an F7 code on my display. After a few mins it changes to 2 - F1 errors, one for the top and one for the lower oven display. This Thermador oven was purchased in 1998. It been an excellent oven but now after lots of troubleshooting, I'm dead in the water. I'm handy and quite familiar with the innards of the control panel as I replaced the capacitors on the main control board several years ago due to a very dim display.

Here's the steps I've taken so far:
    - turned off breaker over night and repowered - no improvement
    - insulated the edges of the metal frame behind the touch pad to ensure there was no short from the control ribbon cable - no improvement
    - removed glass touchpad and gently cleaned back of board with air and a q-tip with alcohol - no improvement
    - plugged the power plug into the back of the touchpad while leaving the ribbon cable disconnected - this step eliminated the F7 error however of course I had no control over the oven since the touch pad was disconnected.

I've concluded that there must be a button on the control panel that is now shorted. The circuit board is epoxied to the glass touch pad so there's no way to fix it from my perspective. I need a new touchpad. I've looked everyone on the internet and cannot find one. The Thermador part # on the back of the touch pad is 14-38-508-02. I have also found that this part has a Bosch part # 00368756. I have not been able to find this glass touch pad anywhere.

Does anyone have any ideas for a fix or where to find this replacement white glass touchpad? Thanks

    Hi,

Thermador is not a popular brand here in my area.

    A copy:

    F7
~Function key shorted for over 16 seconds. Check for something pressing a key or preventing normal release of the key
~Replace electronic range control (also called clock or ERC) if other components check normal

plugged the power plug into the back of the touchpad while leaving the ribbon cable disconnected - this step eliminated the F7 error however of course I had no control over the oven since the touch pad was disconnected.
That should tell us it is a shorted/bad key panel then

Clock/control shows rebuild only, most key panels ( esp white ones ) are NLA.
Maybe a different coloured one can be used?...
    Touch pad/key panel search results.
