Default testing dryers in lower than room temp shop

How will testing the cycling of a dryer be affected in a below room temp shop? Just take longer to reach temp. Kick off at a higher temp? Talking around 50 degrees.

What would cause cycling stats to kick off at higher temps than they are rated for?

Normally will take longer to heat up, will take longer to dry a load, once the heat cycles off the in coming cooler air should cool the dryer down a little faster than normal.

Bad thermostat, poor air flow, thermostat sensing surface gooked up with something ( soap, softener sheet gunk )...

Seems like my thinking is getting a little warped lately.
